- HistoryI grew up in the small town of Moncks Corner, SC.Â Music has always played a huge role in my life.Â In middle school, I was heavily influenced by alternative rock.Â For me, music helped me deal with the pain of my parentâ€™s divorce.Â Â At that time, I did not have any knowledge of Christian music.Â I later met my youth minister, Chris Millard, who introduced my to bands like MxPx, The O.C.
