I was born and raised in Florence, SC. My sophmore year in High School I surrendered to the ministry and realized that God was calling me into music. I learned (through the grace of God) how to play guitar and began leading worship for the youth group I was in. I continued using music to honor God throughout my years in college. Since college, God has allowed me to be a part of the band I Anthem and also work at Radiofree. Walking in God’s calling is so much better than walking in my own.

I was born and raised in Pennsylvania, and moved down here to Florence, South Carolina in 2006. I am a sophomore at Francis Marion University, studying Psychology and Creative Writing. I really enjoy being creative, which includes painting, sketching, and photography. I am involved in leadership at the Baptist Collegiate Ministry at FMU, and attend Cornerstone Baptist Church.

There are vivid childhood memories I have of what I wanted to be when I grew up. One in particular is where I was in a car, looking at billboards, thinking how cool it would be to design one. I was ten. That same year I gave my life to Christ. Fast forward some 18 years later and here I am fulfilling that childhood dream of designing and creating through the ministry of Radio Free. God has woven a plan only he could uniquely design. I am amazed by his work in my life and how I have ended up here, being a self-taught designer. God can do amazing things when you follow him!

Here is a little bit on myself: I grew up in the town of Moncks Corner, SC and attended Berkeley High School. I received my degree in Mass Communications from North Greenville College in 2004. I really enjoy playing the bass guitar and would love to see Victor Wooten play live. He is a freak. The Lord really changed my heart when I was 15. I went to church and youth group, but I didn’t know Jesus like a friend. My goal is to start a network of local Christian stations like radiofreeflorence.com. James McCoy taught me how to surf in Garden City, but I am no good at the sport. I love my family, and green is my favorite color. I am married to my awesome wife, Whitney Meade. I also have a Beagle-Bull dog named Nimbus.
